Dr Andrew Ladhams

Dr Andrew Ladhams

General Practitioner

Background

Dr Andrew Ladhams graduated from the University of Queensland and attained a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2008, alongside a Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM). This dual fellowship is a prestigious distinction held by fewer than 10% of Australian GPs.

With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr Ladhams’ career spans large metropolitan emergency departments, urgent care centres, hospital wards, and solo rural practices throughout Australia. Along the way, he obtained a Diploma in Child Health, supervised GP registrars and medical students, and developed a deep appreciation for the full spectrum of comprehensive primary care.

Dr Ladhams has also served as a Senior Medical Officer across rural hospital networks and as an accreditation assessor for AGPAL/QIP. This extensive background as an urgent care physician brings a depth of clinical range rarely found in suburban general practice.

Driven by a commitment to community health, Dr Ladhams provides high-quality, personalised care through a private-billing model. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with particular expertise in:

  • Skin Cancer Checks
  • Men’s Health
  • Iron Infusions
  • Acute & Urgent Care
  • Musculoskeletal & Sports Medicine
  • Child & Adolescent Health

Andrew looks forward to providing dedicated, patient-centred care to the Ascot community.
